Blood donation is an easy, free way you can give back to those in your community. In an effort to properly manage the blood supply year-round, we strongly encourage donors to give blood in advance of Drive for Life. Give blood before the drive, until Oct. 15 to receive a voucher to attend the event.
All donors who choose to give at the event and those with pre-donation vouchers will receive a commemorative Drive for Life XVI t-shirt and lapel pin, a goodie bag, food and beverages at the stadium.
Additionally, all donors will be eligible for raffle prizes that include tickets to Denver sporting events, gift cards to local businesses, concert tickets and many other great prizes. No appointment is necessary for donors who give blood at the event.
Donors who meet certain eligibility criteria will also have the opportunity to give a power red donation or two units of red blood cells to double their impact through a new automated system that takes about 15 minutes longer than a whole blood donation.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to join the Be the Match Registry with Bonfils' Colorado Marrow Donor Program to help patients battling life-threatening blood cancers like leukemia and lymphoma.

This year marks the 70th anniversary of Bonfils Blood Center's presence in this community. Through seven decades of service, they have become a trusted community resource for those in their time of need as well as an outlet for our neighbors wanting to give back through blood, marrow and financial donations. In order to meet the needs of the nearly 200 healthcare facilities they serve and to be prepared for unexpected events Bonfils must collect more than 3,000 blood donations each week.
